Field Trip: Backpack Required
Why does my child need a backpack?
All children are required to have a backpack for field trip days. Another sort of bag will not do. The backpack needs to be large enough to carry the child's lunch and coat as well as any other personal items he or she needs to bring on the trip. For small children, please make sure the backpack is not too large to be manageable. Backpacks are the most useful type of bag if the child is cycling or walking with his or her lunch and gear. All of our field trips involve cycling or walking. Backpacks are also necessary on the bus to make sure that all of the child's personal items make it off the bus with the child.
