Field Trip: Fitted Helmet
What type of helmet does my child need?
All children are required to have a well-fitting helmet for field trip days. The helmet must be approved by a reputable organization, preferably ANSI or SNELL in addition to CSA. The helmet must fit the child correctly, and be adjustable by our staff. The helmet must properly cover the child's forehead, and must not slide back and forth or side to side significantly. Prior to purchasing a helmet, please get accurate advice on the fit and on the style of helmet. We can show you some recommended types of helmets at the school if you would like advice before you buy. Your child can expect that staff will adjust the helmet to make sure it fits every time prior to leaving the school.
