Oak and Orca School Fees
At Oak and Orca School, we are committed to providing a quality educational alternative that is affordable. Our fees are as low as possible, and we supplement our income with fundraising. Committed families who are unable to pay the whole tuition fee, can apply for a work-exchange situation where part of the tuition fee is paid in work done for the school. All families are asked to participate in fundraising endeavors and become active in our learning community.
Fees
The following is a summary of our fees:
Activity Fee
Covers school supplies and normal school activities including field trips:
- $100 per year, everyone
Tuition Fee
Fees for school hours, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm:
- ages 6 to 12 years
- First child: $200 per month ($2,000 per year)
- Second & subsequent child: $100 per month ($1,000 per year)
- age 5 by Dec 31st
- 2 days per week, $100 per month ($1,000 per year)
- 3 days per week, $150 per month ($1,500 per year)
- 5 days per week, $250 per month ($3,500 per year)
- 4 year olds, not yet age 5 by Dec 31st
- 2 days per week, $250 per month ($2,500 per year)
- 3 days per week, $350 per month ($3,500 per year)
- 5 days per week, $500 per month ($5,000 per year)
Out of School Care
After school, normally to 5:00 pm, plus professional development days:
- $183 per month
- casual, $5 per hour or $20 per day
- ProD days $20 per day
- school holiday, $20 per day or $92 per week
- Closed on statutory holidays and one week in December
