Water Week (July 6th to 10th)
During Water Week students will be engaged in learning about the watery aspects of their local bioregion. This will allow for students to recognize the deeper influence of our waterways and what we do them, while celebrating our favorite liquid. During the hot days of summer this will be a refreshing week, soaked with bioregional fun.
Tuesday July 7th
Walking to Rotary Waterpark
For our first water-themed field trip we will be walking down to the Rotary Waterpark, where students can play water-oriented games in the many sprinklers and jets that fill this popular location. This is always a favorite field trip for students enrolled in the summer program, because we all know there's nothing like a cool shower on a hot summer day.
Thursday July 9th
Biking to Clover Point
On Thursday we will be biking down to Clover Point to experience the lowest tide of the summer. This field trip offers a plethora of tidal pool activities as children explore the life left behind by the waves. This field trip offers a chance to realize the 'other side' of our bioregion, and our watery friends.
